Question 1

Can Rivetorch connect to a repository today?

Accepted Answer

No. Connected-repository access is unavailable here. The project intake can collect repository context, but submitting it does not grant access, connect to, or scan a repository.

Question 2

What repository permissions should our team grant?

Accepted Answer

There is no repository permission setup available here because Rivetorch cannot connect to a repository today. Do not share credentials, access tokens, or secrets through the intake form. A repository URL or general context is optional and does not provide access.

Question 3

How are proposed changes intended to be reviewed?

Accepted Answer

The intended approach is human-led review of proposed changes, with your engineering team keeping the final decision about whether to use them. This describes the approach Rivetorch is being built toward; a connected-repository review workflow is not currently available here.

Question 4

Does Rivetorch currently map dependencies or analyze upgrades?

Accepted Answer

No. Dependency mapping and upgrade analysis are not currently delivered. Connected-repository access is unavailable here, and submitting project context does not run either process.

Question 5

Does Rivetorch make and test code changes today?

Accepted Answer

No. Tested changes are not currently delivered. The human-led review approach is an intended direction, not an available workflow for proposing, reviewing, or applying repository changes today.

Question 6

Can we get a report based on our repository?

Accepted Answer

Repository-backed reports are not currently delivered. You can share project context through the intake form, but it does not connect to or analyze a repository or generate a repository-backed report.

Question 7

What can our team do now?

Accepted Answer

You can use the project intake to share company, repository, and modernization context for a conversation. It does not start repository access or modernization work. Please leave out credentials, access tokens, and secrets.
